At Vintage Racing Services, our rigs service a wide variety of vintage events. We attend a large number of eastern venues in addition to the Monterey Historics, La Carrera Pan Americana & various European race meetings by arrangement.



TRANSPORTATION SCHEDULING

Our primary reason for providing transportation services is to accommodate our support customers. Transport space is offered on a first-come, first-served basis to all other users. A 50 percent non-refundable payment is required on reserving, with the balance due on return.

BASIC TRANSPORTATION RATES

  • Small vehicle (up to 135 inches long, 54 inches high, 75 inches wide): 60 cents per loaded mile.
  • Mid-size vehicle (up to 156 inches long, 54 inches high, 75 inches wide): 70 cents per loaded mile.
  • Large vehicle (up to 180 inches long, 54 inches high, 78 inches wide): 80 cents per loaded mile.

TRANSPORTATION RATE CARD

All flat rates are round trip, include load/unload and assume mid size vehicle. Please see our seasonal update for up-to-date rate information.

The flat rate is 10% less for small cars under 10' 0", more for large cars 11' 0" to 15' 0" long, more for extra large cars over 15' long. Extra wide vehicles or vehicles requiring disassemby for transport are also subject to surcharges. Light load surcharges. We apply surcharges to transport for any destination with 3 cars or less. 15% per car for a 3 car load, 25% per car for a 2 car load, 50% per car for a 1 car load.

SPARES

Rates include 2 boxes (10 cubic feet) of spare parts. Additional spares are invoiced @ five cents per mile for each 20 sq. ft. block of space.

PICK -UP & DELIVER

We cannot load in multiple locations. All rates are to and from our facility in Stratford, Connecticut. We can provide pickup & delivery at extra cost.

INSURANCE

We do not insure the vehicles we transport. We require that vehicle owners or consigners provide insurance to cover the cost of replacement or repair of vehicles.

RELEASES

As a term and condition of transport, we require owners or consignors to sign releases for both Vintage Racing Services Inc. and Automotive Restorations Inc.

We accept payment by cash, check, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), wire transfer and bank debit card.
